Direct HTTPS media file URL

Direct file means the URL itself returns audio/video.A normal webpage is not a direct media file. For a YouTube video you have rights to use, choose the YouTube tab instead.

YouTube video URL

Single public, permitted videos only.Xaro can import one public YouTube video and convert its audio. Playlists, live streams, private/member/login-gated videos, age-restricted media, account cookies and DRM bypasses are not supported.

On first YouTube use, Xaro may install verified pinned yt-dlp and Deno helper components into its protected bin folder if your host does not already provide them.
